- installing m3uplus player: download the official APK file and enable "install from unknown sources" in settings.
- first-time setup: open the app and grant storage permissions so the player can save playlist cache and channel icons.
- navigating the UI: access Live TV, Movies (VOD), Series, and Settings directly from the main bottom navigation bar.

- add M3U URL: tap "Add Playlist", choose "M3U URL", enter your playlist name, paste the link, and click Save.
- add Xtream Codes: select "Xtream Codes API", then enter your server portal URL, username, and password.
- import local file: select "Local M3U File" and pick your saved `.m3u` or `.m3u8` file from your device download folder.
Pro Tip: Xtream Codes API is recommended because it auto-categorizes movies and TV series into clean VOD folders.
- what is EPG?: Electronic Program Guide loads upcoming TV show times, descriptions, and channel program info.
- adding EPG source: navigate to Settings > EPG Sources > Add Source and paste your XMLTV URL.
- force refreshing EPG: if program guides are missing or outdated, tap "Clear & Reload EPG Cache" in settings.
Pro Tip: Set EPG auto-update to 24 hours to keep TV schedules synchronized without manual refreshes.
- favorites management: long-press any channel or movie to add it to your Favorites tab for instant access.
- custom channel logos: clear the picon cache in Settings to force download fresh channel logos from your provider.
- parental control PIN: lock specific adult or restricted category folders with a 4-digit security PIN code.
Pro Tip: Enable hardware acceleration in Video Settings to ensure smooth 60fps 4K playback.
